This reputationally strong comms advisory business with expertise across corporate and political affairs wants to bring in ad hoc, high level expertise within its employee engagement/internal comms practice. A relatively young practice with a smart line-up, it wants to combine its own expertise with that of a seasoned practitioner who can help consolidate and enhance the offer, convert business leads, help develop some exciting new tools and products, and mentor the team. To begin with, they want to buy around three days per month for the next few months and then review progress and value. The role would suit those of you who have space in your work schedule and want to work with some bright minds. You would need to reassure that there is no conflict of interest with any other consultancy work you may be delivering, either of your own or on behalf of other companies.
Our client – a leading global public relations consultancy – is seeking a skilled Senior Associate Director or Director to be the lead on one of their most high-profile consumer tech accounts. This role is very much akin to a Client Service Director and requires a similar level of client management expertise.
Your task will be to ensure the client receives the best service and has the best agency experience possible. In practice, this means adding value day-to-day and acting as the client’s trusted advisor but also working with the account team to instill a better understanding of the client’s objectives and priorities.
You’ll also drive account growth and up-sell services across different teams, you’ll have an explicit understanding of what good client service looks like, and work both strategically and commercially. You are likely to be in a mid- or large-sized agency, operating in a similar role – either as an established Associate Director or junior Director – and you’ll have a particular strength in managing global consumer brands (including consumer or lifestyle tech brands). Demonstrable experience of advising senior and c-suite level clients and of owning relationships at this level in large-scale organisations is a must.
