Our client is a boutique, creative consumer agency with a long-standing and stellar reputation across a range of consumer lifestyle brands, but with a particular strength in the drinks sector. If you’re looking for a new challenge and want to take on a meaty, senior role with responsibilities across new business (think hunter, rather than farmer), team leadership, resourcing and day-to-day management, then this could be the place for you.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an innovative, down-to-earth and people-focused communications practitioner; the chance to play a significant part in shaping the future of a well-known and highly-regarded agency.
A swathe of impressive new business successes in the first half of this year means that our global consultancy client’s highly successful Food and Drink division is now ready to add to its senior management team with the appointment of a Senior Associate Director - effectively number two to the Managing Director. The client portfolio includes household name brands within soft drinks, snacks and food health, so there’s plenty of variety. The nature of the work is diverse too, including brand building, developing cross-practice, multi-stakeholder campaigns and large-scale events. Food and drink experience is an absolute must and it would be great if you had an understanding of nutrition and the complex legislation that surrounds the industry. At this level, expectations are high in relation to business development, so you’ll need to be confident in your ability to network, pitch and land new clients. The team is bright, talented and highly collegiate and the opportunity represents the chance to step up into a genuine leadership role.
Our fantastic client continues to evolve into an impressive and innovative mid-sized (not to mention independent) agency with exceptional clients across the entire corporate spectrum, from energy, food and retail, right through to financial and professional services. It’s for this latter unit that it is looking to hire a stellar corporate Associate Director with long-standing agency experience to drive sizeable communications programmes for clients across asset management and institutional investment, retail banking, insurance and broad professional services. To hit the mark, you’ll not only be an exceptional client handler and have deep-rooted sector knowledge, but will be a strong new business developer, too.
This beloved consultancy is considered to be one of the best to work for in the UK market. It has its own stellar client list for whom it develops a non-traditional, channel neutral approach to communications. Its exciting evolution continues this year as it takes up the sole PR spot within a new super-group of five media hot-shops, encompassing media buying, online marketing, digital and insight / research. Our client’s entrepreneurial corporate team now needs an Associate Director with impact who can get involved in the day-to-day, but also work strategically across the business, servicing blue-chip clients in the travel, food, drinks and retail markets (among others). You’ll also need to be an inspiring leader and a talented new business developer. High levels of creativity are a must, but you’ll also be an organised sort and good with numbers. Working to build and protect the reputations of iconic brands is only part of this team’s armoury – amongst a core team of twelve corporate specialists, you’ll find plenty of thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, content development and issues management projects to get your teeth into. Culturally, life here is fun, collegiate and supportive and the people are united by a desire to deliver for their clients. Good ideas are the backbone of success here.
This impressive, trail-blazing and highly strategic corporate and public affairs boutique consultancy needs to hire a sophisticated Partner who has the gravitas to counsel clients at the highest level. It’s a pioneer in corporate reputation and issues management and its clients are well-used to high value consultancy. What’s more, the firm is good at attracting inspired leaders; rainmakers in fact — people who really make a difference. As a Partner you'll be expected to have substantial client expertise and people development skills as well as the strategic ability to create new and profitable business channels through your long-established and extensive network. You’ll sit alongside an impressive, intellectually strong team committed to delivering communications that make a difference to its clients' businesses. It's a rare opportunity to be part of a top-class leadership team and a unique business.
