We are the people who can make it work

The Foundry Digital has very quickly established market leadership as companies continue to evolve and develop their digital capability.

We've helped a number of consultancies and inhouse communications departments hire commercially-focused digital leads, who will drive technical innovation and build business, as well as digital specialists at the delivery end of the spectrum – individuals who can formulate and execute innovative digital campaigns, develop content and create digital products.

We offer you the option to review a range of opportunities, both in house and within specialist consultancies. However, we are also happy to invite you to go straight to 'Contact Us' to arrange to talk to one of our consultants about your unique experience and aspirations.

Senior Digital Communications Specialist , Digital
c£40,000 (REF. LB509954)

Our client is a household public sector organisation with a major footprint in the media space. As its impact widens, it is ready to hire a talented digital communications professional at manager level (or thereabouts) to join a growing department within the 150-strong national communications team. You will lead on the digital communications campaigns and be responsible for devising and implementing communications campaigns to enhance and protect the reputation of this division of the organisation. You’ll plan and develop digital content and will be responsible for reactive communications, primarily on Twitter. You’ll possess substantial digital communications experience, mostly in the earned media space (although experience of paid social is welcome too). You’ll have a solid understanding of the principles of SEO, will have a strong creative streak when it comes to producing and shaping content and will be an excellent writer with great attention to detail. In addition to your digital skills, you’ll come armed with experience of working within a press office set-up (either in a client-side role or within a busy consultancy) as you’ll sit within a team that requires some on-call press office cover once a month. Equally important is cultural fit and team work, so you’ll be down-to-earth, switched-on and engaging, as well as used to an intuitive, flexible and fast-paced way of working.

Digital Consultant, Digital
c £40,000 (REF. LB509945)

The world of digital communications is ever-changing and has never been so important to big businesses and how they reach their key audiences. We’re working with a trailblazing consultancy who is looking to invest in a skilled digital consultant or senior consultant to help continue to shape and build its digital expertise. You could be an ambitious Account Manager, Senior Account Manager or an agile Account Director equivalent. Your background might be in consultancy, but you might also want to make the move from an inhouse role or jump out of the not-for-profit sector. Whatever your background, you’ll be people-orientated and career-focused. You’ll also be an excellent and confident manager of people and your experience will ideally encompass email marketing and campaign crafting. You’ll get to work on purpose-led campaigns impacted by broader societal agendas. Working on strategic, integrated digital communications programmes – devising campaigns, understanding audiences, assessing data and insights – will be second nature to you. You may be fluent in digital execution and paid social but, equally, you may be more focused on strategy and keen to expand your learning to include more executional elements. In all cases, you’ll be commercially astute.
