The Foundry's Executive Freelance Club (EFC) was established 20 years ago to provide freelance/interim support to both consultancies and inhouse communications teams.

We help companies find short, medium and longer-term freelance support for ad hoc projects (such as new business pitches, change programmes, launch campaigns), as well as maternity covers and fixed-term contracts. To meet our EFC membership criteria, you’ll need to be versatile, high-calibre and multi-skilled.

Are you a social media whizz at or around Account Manager level? Our client – a fast-paced independent and mid-sized consumer consultancy – is looking for someone just like you to add weight to some of its exciting digital and social projects over the next three months. You’ll be well-versed in all things social media, including all the latest monitoring tools and analysis techniques. You’ll get to roll your sleeves up on some exciting content and influencer campaigns for a number of high-profile consumer brands across the automotive, leisure and energy sectors (amongst others). Creative and strategic freelance Account Manager sought for our top-tier agency client for a two to three month long contract. Could that be you? You’ll have a results-orientated approach and have an in-depth knowledge of the UK media, able to tell brands’ stories and craft interesting media strategies as part of core client teams. You’ll also have solid knowledge of up-to-date digital and social media practices and platforms and will enjoy fashioning clever creative content to engage new audiences. It goes without saying that you’ll have all the core skills of a talented Account Manager – from client handling to team management. They are currently looking for a savvy, talented, highly accomplished Associate Director who can hit the ground running almost immediately, taking on a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll come armed with an impressive agency background and must have extensive experience of working on large-scale retail brands.You’ll enjoy building brand campaigns, have a first-class creative mind and a track record of excellent client relationship management. This is an established senior role so you’ll be responsible for managing big client accounts, providing senior counsel and setting strategy, as well as doing your bit to help identify and secure new business opportunities and grow business organically. You’ll also have a deep understanding of digital platforms and social engagement and will be a seasoned manager and nurturer of teams.
